Baird High School is proud to announce the Valedictorian and the Salutatorian for the graduating class of 2024!
Valedictorian- Brady Deel
Brady will be attending Texas Tech University and will major in History. Her Plans are to go to Law School to become a lawyer.
Salutatorian- Bree Tennison
Bree will be attending Texas Tech University and will be majoring in Geology. Her plans are to become a geologist for energy companies such as oil and gas, windmills and solar farms.
Congratulations to these two OUTSTANDING students and their families!
Our UIL team had 5 kids bring home 8 medals.
The Callahan County Sherriff department is going to give a presentation to our students today on safe driving. the presentation will be at 9:15 in the High School Auditorium and will last about an hour. Anyone from the public is welcome to attend, please try to arrive early so that you can check into the office first.
We have 5 students competing in the State UIL competition all week in Austin. We wish them good luck and know they are representing Baird ISD well.

All First Baptist Youth activities will be cancelled this Wednesday May 8th. They will be back at their regular time next Wednesday.
