The Career and Technology Education (CTE) program at Baird ISD is growing to provide unique educational opportunities for our students to develop the knowledge and skills required for employment in our modern technological society.  We believe that a highly educated and skilled workforce is essential, both for the economic prosperity of our community and for our students to have a meaningful and rewarding career. Technically skilled and highly educated individuals are needed at all levels business and industry.

Our CTE programs are focused on:

  • Offering the ability to earn industry-recognized certifications
  • Providing pathways to college and postsecondary opportunities after high school
  • Developing relationships with regional businesses and industries
  • Offering leadership developement opportunities through CTE student organizations

Baird ISD currently offers five programs of study across five career clusters.  These programs include:
