About Baird ISD

Baird Independent School District is a 1-A district located in Callahan County, approximately 15 miles east of Abilene.  The district has two campuses: Baird Elementary, which serves students from PK–5; and Baird High School, which servers students in grades 7–12.  This district has a total enrollment of approximately 300 students.

As a small district, BISD offers our staff a family atmosphere and small class sizes.  We offer competitive salary and benefits, including health insurance, vision and dental coverage, free staff meals, and an on-site employee fitness center.

If offered a position with BISD, the following foms must be completed and submitted to the Business Manager, Lana Walls.  Forms may be submitted in person or vial email to lwalls@bairdisd.org.
