About Baird ISD
Baird Independent School District is a 1-A district located in Callahan County, approximately 15 miles east of Abilene. The district has two campuses: Baird Elementary, which serves students from PK–5; and Baird High School, which servers students in grades 6–12. This district has a total enrollment of approximately 300 students.
As a small district, BISD offers our staff a family atmosphere and small class sizes. We offer competitive salary and benefits, including health insurance, vision and dental coverage, free staff meals, and an on-site employee fitness center.
