Baird ISD is proud to announce that Baird Elementary and Baird High School have been awarded the Purple Star Campus Designation for the 2025–2026 and 2026–2027 school years!

This honor, given by the Texas Education Agency, recognizes schools that provide outstanding support for military-connected students and families. To earn this distinction, campuses:

✅ Appoint a military liaison
✅ Maintain a dedicated webpage for military families
✅ Implement student transition programs
✅ Participate in initiatives like Month of the Military Child and partnerships with military liaisons

“This recognition highlights our district’s commitment to serving all students and families,” said Superintendent Tim Little.
