Military Families

Baird ISD Military Family Support

At Baird ISD, we welcome military families. We are working toward earning our Purple Star School designation to better support children of service members.

We want to support you through the challenges of deployment, relocation, and learning life in a new area. If you are part of a military family who has been transferred to Dyess AFB, and you are looking for a small-school environment for your children, we’re here to support you. Any parent or guardian who is an active-duty member of the United States Armed Forces or Reserve Armed Forces may enroll children in Baird ISD.

To get started, please the Military Liaison for the campus in which you would like to enroll your children. We will help you through the registration process, and we will also notify the staff so they are prepared to support you.

Thank you for joining Baird ISD! We look forward to helping you and your children experience an easy transition into Baird ISD.
